Trigger generation

The experiments envisaged for TIARA will not require complex trigger definition electronics. With primary beam intensities of typically 10⁴ to 10⁶ pps, a coincidence requirement placed between the array and the zero degree telescope (or between two different parts of the array) will generate a fast trigger signal at an acceptable event rate. This will then be used as the master trigger generator.
