Gamma-ray detection

The TIARA array will be compatible with various arrays of gamma-ray detectors. In particular, the Exogam array is presently under construction at GANIL and is ideally matched in terms of efficiency and energy resolution. It forms the natural focus for the new TIARA array. The TIARA team has sufficiently strong links with the Exogam project to be assured of appropriate access to the array and its detectors.
